Steve Smith is a freelance photographer specializing in photojournalism. His primary focus has switched to weddings and portraits over the past several years. He operates his own wedding photography studio and also works for a nationwide wedding photography company where he travels around the country. Steve spent his first years in photography working for the fire department documenting all types of emergency incidents. He uses this experience as the foundation for capturing the moment and telling the true story through photographs. He approaches portrait photography in a similar way, allowing the subject to become comfortable and let the situation unfold naturally. When not photographing or exploring the Pacific Northwest, Steve enjoys gardening, growing all kinds of organic fruits and vegetables. Steve has been a member of Image Collective for over five years. |
